Deadline!

We really rushed to finish everything today by 3pm...I think there is some issue with the rendering.
Printing was a pain in the rear end, printed out an A2 poster instead of A3....paid $12.30 in total :P. Print, print, and edit presentation...

hope Ronald does not fry us alive :(.

MAJOR UPDATE: Ronald HATED our work and he really criticized us badly :(. but then, everyone learns through mistakes...here are a few things to improve on next time:
* Animatics do not match the time given in storyboard descriptions; animatics were too fast
* Schedule was weird- 'wait for one job to finish before starting on another' weird. I had forgotten that people can multi-task, or when one group is doing work, another group can do their work.
I think Greg was really pissed at me about screwing up the presentation....I just hope I get a good grade after all this...

Busy on a Tuesday

This is what I had to do today:
*Scan in frames
*Edit Powerpoint presentation
*Put in frames in Powerpoint
*Put in description and timing for each frame in Powerpoint slides
*Still waiting for Adeline and Rina to give me remaining graphics for Powerpoint presentation

Adeline and Rina went to work on packaging materials and collaterals, while Adeline helped Greg with animetics and special effects. The things left now are mood boards, collaterals and packaging materials...hope to really complete everything tomorrow, since it's DEADLINE....

Monday blues

We met today to work...and from the looks of it, we are going very slowly. We have only managed to do half of the animatics (after much drawing, scanning, and uploading to Flash), with our frames still uncoloured. Not only that, we still have mood boards (which has to be A3 size), packaging materials and collaterals to work on. With some of us having other classes, this can look impossible to accomplish by Wednesday. I hope tomorrow turns out better...

Group Meeting Today

We met up today to discuss our roles for the project. We decided to leave out the packaging materials and collaterals for later (though I already made rough sketches). So the roles are:
*Powerpoint slides-- Me
*Picking out frames and arranging story structure-- Adeline
*Drawing storyboard-- Greg and Rina
*Animetics and Special Effects-- Greg
Along the way, each of us may pitch in to help in small jobs....more to come...so far, there appears to be no trouble in the group...hope it stays that way. We hope to complete everything by Monday so we can focus on the packaging materials and collaterals (hope my sketches help). Until Monday comes...

Starting out...

We were given our project brief for our Project Pitching assignment yesterday...and from the looks of it, seems I have to put off Second Life for a while. We have to pitch for our Jack and Jill assignment (a short horror film) through an animatics piece-simple animation- with these four oh-so important aspects:
*Storyboard (which we have to put in our animatics video)
*Moodboards (maybe two is enough)
*Packaging materials
*Collaterals
I decided to do up some sketches for moodboards, packaging materials, and collaterals (by today, Thursday), to hopefully speed things up. Hope we can really finish this project in time...

UPDATE: Here are our official roles:
*Greg--> VFX Artist and Concept Art
*Adeline--> Director
*Rina--> Co-Director and Concept Art
*Natalya (me!!)--> Producer
